Role Description
This is a parttime volunteer hybrid role for a Mentor Coordinator at Mentoring4Life in Springdale, AR. The Mentor Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, coordinating and facilitating mentoring relationships between successful mentors and individuals seeking guidance and support. Daily tasks will include matching mentors with mentees, organizing mentoring sessions, and providing support to both mentors and mentees to ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
- Effective communication skills for engaging conversations
- Experience in coordinating programs or activities for mentoring purposes
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to navigate life challenges with others
- Organizational skills for managing mentoring relationships and sessions
- Understanding of the foster care system and/or counseling experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
