Entry Level Print Shop Admin

MENU PROS is looking for an Entry Level Print Shop Admin to join our team. We are seeking a staff member that above all, possesses a great work ethic and positive attitude. In addition, we are looking for the following skills and or experience:

Non-exempt, Part-Time (average 25 hours a week, spread out)

Wage: $13.00 - $15.00 hourly 

Qualifications:

• Must be willing to take direction and perform tasks without direct supervision.
• (All training is provided to fit our unique production methods)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
• Reliable transportation (to get to work)
• Attention to detail is a MUST
• Must possess good verbal and written communication on a daily basis. We promote and enjoy a very open communication oriented environment at MENU PROS.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform the daily production activities of printing and shipping.
• Study print schedule. Estimate hour requirements for completion of job assignments. Inform the Production Manager of any requests that can’t be met. Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Use various equipment and machinery to finish the job order to the exact customer standards. This includes filling in any sizes, quantities, job names or purchase orders on the work order prior to starting the job.
• Know and understand how the equipment works and keep it clean at all times to assure our products are delivered in the highest quality to our customer.
• In-between jobs pick up work area and sweep clean. Keep your area stocked with paper and supplies. Notify your supervisor of low inventory.
• Report mechanical failures.
• Assist in other departments when necessary or orders are slow.
• Accurately package, label and weigh items to be shipped and ensure proper shipment method and shipping charges
• Perform any other tasks, duties, or functions directed by the Production Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

The current position is a Part-Time position, compensation ranging anywhere from $13-$15 per hour depending on qualifications. This is an entry level position. Some experience with large digital printers is a plus (RICOH, XEROX etc.). We are willing to be very flexible with most schedules. Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm. Depending on workload we can offer anywhere from 15-30 hours per week, looking for someone with flexibility.
