Role Summary

URBN is looking for a Marketing Coordinator.  This role is dynamic and creative role focused on

supporting the Menus & Venues (M&V) marketing team with social media management, content creation, digital, and brand marketing initiatives. This position is ideal for someone

with a passion for social media and a strong understanding of how to craft engaging content that drives brand awareness and customer engagement.

 

The Marketing Coordinator reports directly to the Marketing Specialist and will be integral in executing marketing campaigns, enhancing our online presence, and collaborating across teams to elevate our brands in the digital space.

Role Responsibilities

Social Media Management & Content Creation:

  •  Assist in the development, curation, and scheduling of engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok that aligns with brand strategy and voice.
  • Create compelling visual and written content, including videos, stories, and posts to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Monitor and manage social media activities, including posting, community engagement, and responding to comments/messages.
  • Assist in managing relationships with influencers, content creators, and other brand partners to amplify our reach on social media.

 Campaign Execution, Reporting & Market Research:

  • Support the Marketing Specialist in executing digital marketing campaigns, including social media ads, promotions, and email marketing initiatives.
  • Track and analyze the performance of social media and email campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and algorithms to ensure M&V brands remain competitive and relevant.
  • Provide ad-hoc research support, including competitor analysis and customer data review, to inform content strategies and marketing decisions as needed.

Team Collaboration & Ad Hoc Support:

  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager, Graphic Designer, and other stakeholders to align content with overall brand direction and ensure a cohesive visual identity across all platforms.
  • Assist in maintaining up to date online presences across appropriate channels.
  • Provide general marketing support across various initiatives, including event promotions, seasonal campaigns, and special projects.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings, share insights, and provide feedback on creative work.

Role Qualifications

  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok.
  • Strong creative writing and storytelling skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Instagram Insights, Facebook Analytics, TikTok Analytics) to track performance and optimize campaigns.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus but not required.
  • Be prepared to share a portfolio or previous work samples
