Menzner Hardwoods Co. is currently hiring Forklift Operators and Backup Operators for 1st and 2nd shifts at our Marathon City location.

Qualifications: Operates forklift for moving material and supplying operations within the main mill areas.

• Review daily order cards to determine material requirements. Also receive direction and changes from Supervisor.
• Supplies material to production to meet daily production needs.
• Moves finished product to storage area.
• Inspects lift daily. Refers problems to maintenance department.
• Helps with general production as needed.

Must be 18 years old, physically capable of lifting / maneuvering up to 30 lbs. regularly, be capable of standing for 8 hours / shift, work well with coworkers in a team environment, have good work tenure in prior employment, be flexible in completing job duties as assigned.

First Shift Hours: 6:30am - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday. Second Shift Hours: 3:30pm -10:30pm Monday - Friday. Third Shift Hours: Sunday - Thursday 10:30pm - 6:30 am. Shifts include a paid break and paid lunch. Overtime hours are required as production needs arise, which typically involve working 9 hour shifts during the week, and a 6 hour shift on Saturdays.
