What are the responsibilities and job description for the Freelance Mental Health Gig position at Meomind Inc.?
We are a group of therapists and mental health advocates looking for guests to participate in recurring mock-therapy sessions for a mental health app.
As a guest, you will be invited to engage in sessions with our licensed professional therapists, sharing challenges that you are currently facing. The total time commitment is around 1.5 hour per session (post interview/soundcheck process). Most participants record between 1-3 sessions with us.
We are looking for articulate participants with reliable, high-speed internet access, and experience in one or more of the following: anxiety, depression, self-worth, stress, relationships, focus and motivation, or trauma. It is vital that our participants can convey visceral and organic emotions during these sessions. It is best to come with an actual obstacle or struggle to ensure authenticity and efficacy. Acting ability is a plus! A flexible schedule is ideal.
Conversations will take place over video conference with the session host and clinician, but the recording is audio only. Additionally, we will change your name, among other characteristics, to keep your identity anonymous. You will be supplied with all the equipment, and your time will be compensated!
The sessions are intended to reduce the stigma around mental health, expand accessibility, and help listeners relate to topics that they feel may be present in their life. Your participation will benefit others in this regard!
