Responsibilities
- Speak with pet owners to obtain a thorough patient history
- Take vital signs and acquire lab samples
- Run in-house diagnostics (CBC/Chem/UA, cytologies, etc.)
- Perform body and dental radiographs
- Assist with surgeries, monitor pets during and after surgery
- Administer medications and provide discharge instructions for clients
- Keep accurate patient records
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role
- Knowledge of animal care and handling
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environment
- Patience and empathy for pet owners from all walks of life
- Fear-free certification is a bonus!
Salary : $23 - $25
