Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC and Plumbing Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) systems and plumbing fixtures. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in both fields, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:HVAC Responsibilities:- Install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioning units.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficiency and longevity.
- Handle refrigerants according to safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
- Inspect and test HVAC systems for leaks, airflow issues, and electrical malfunctions.
- Program and calibrate thermostats and control systems.
- Follow industry codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues such as leaks, clogged drains, water pressure problems, and pipe damage.
- Repair and replace water heaters, boilers, sump pumps, and sewage systems.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper operation.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for plumbing system installations.
- Work with various plumbing materials, including PVC, copper, and galvanized pipes.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing maintenance and repair.
- HVAC certification (EPA 608, NATE) and plumbing license preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC electrical components, refrigeration, and gas heating systems.
- Understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and handle demanding tasks.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to use CRM
