Under general supervision, performs CT procedures and operates imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images. Prepares examination areas, positions patients, and assists physicians during procedures.
Education: Two years post-high school training in diagnostic imaging.
Licensures/Certifications: National registry and state licensure required, along with CPR certification.
Experience: Two years as a Radiologic Technologist or one year in computed tomography.
Skills: Knowledge of radiology principles, analytical skills for CT techniques.
