(MEPPI) is seeking a talented Systems Engineer II to design and support innovative renewable energy solutions. This role is critical in driving sustainability and innovation for customer projects in the energy sector.

What You’ll Do

• Design with Impact: Lead design studies and engineering activities to scope and install renewable energy solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Drive Performance: Perform equipment design and rating calculations, develop one-line diagrams, and guide customers in selecting optimal solutions.
• Field Support: Plan and oversee site commissioning tests, assist with startup activities, and provide product support at project sites.
• Collaborate Globally: Coordinate local designs with supplier engineers, ensuring smooth integration and seamless implementation of equipment and systems.
• Lead Innovation: Establish SSD design standards, tackle mechanical, electrical, and structural challenges, and propose cost-effective initiatives.
• Be a Technical Expert: Monitor factory and field test plans, interpret test results, and guide field engineers in troubleshooting and repairs.
• Deliver Solutions: Work with sales and project management teams to develop proposals and define project schedules while leveraging advanced energy storage technologies.

What You Bring

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, with 3–5 years of experience in energy storage batteries or related equipment.
• Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of energy storage technology, substation product lines, and emerging industry trends.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to read, understand, and create technical drawings while solving complex design challenges.
• Collaboration Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to work effectively with diverse customer, supplier, and internal teams.
• Tech-Savviness: Proficient in MS Office and related tools to support design and project management tasks.
