Position Details :

  • Provide medical evaluation and care in outpatient settings
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
  • Conduct histories, physical exams, order diagnostic tests, interpret data, prescribe medications, and educate patients / staff
  • Maintain high clinical competence and integrate nursing and medicine
  • Work with the community healthcare team

Skills Required :

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for patient care and commitment to our mission
  • 1-3 years NP experience, preferably in Primary Care
  • Experience with behavioral health or intellectual / developmental disabilities is a plus
  • Telehealth experience preferred

    • Education and Certifications :

  • Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program with an MSN
  • Licensed as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in Louisiana
  • Provider BLS and ACLS certifications may be required
  • Certificate of Prescriptive Authority
