House Manager Job Description
Merakey is seeking a House Manager to join our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (IDD) division in Chester County.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directs and supervises the daily operations for assigned home(s) and people living in these home(s).
- Supervises Direct Support Professionals.
- Ensures homes are adequately staffed at all times.
- Handles requests for time off and e-time card approval.
- Coordinates and attends all medical appointments for assigned home(s).
- Ensures assigned home(s) are in compliance with regulations.
- Completes Corrective Actions as needed.
- On-call.
- Maintains personal needs and accountability and works with Client Funds to ensure all remain compliant with waiver requirements.
- Works with recruiter to fill all vacant positions.
- Acts as liaison in conjunction with the program specialist to outside entities including programs, behavior specialists, job coaches, etc.
- Conducts house meetings and fire drills.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- One year's experience in working with the developmentally disabled.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Valid Driver's License is required.
- Must be at least 21 years old or older.
