Investor Relations & Capital Raising – Private Credit
Location: New York City
A premier private credit investment firm specializing in direct lending and innovative financing solutions is seeking a Investor Relations Individual to lead its capital-raising strategy and investor engagement. This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and grow relationships with institutional investors and drive the firm’s expansion across key markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy targeting institutional investors, including pensions, endowments, and family offices
- Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with existing Limited Partners (LPs), ensuring proactive communication and engagement
- Lead the creation of customized fundraising materials, performance reports, and due diligence packages
- Oversee the organization of investor meetings, roadshows, and conferences
- Collaborate with internal teams, including investment and operations, to provide timely and transparent fund performance updates
Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in fundraising or investor relations, preferably in Private Credit, Direct Lending, or Alternative Investments
- Proven track record of securing significant capital commitments from institutional investors
- Strong knowledge of private credit structures, fund performance metrics, and financial products
- Superior communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to lead and innovate in a dynamic environment
