We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver/ Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to designated locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Route Driver will also engage in upselling products and maintaining accurate records of deliveries.
Duties
- Safely operate a vehicle to pick up shipments and deliver products to customers along assigned routes.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety protocols, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain an organized delivery schedule, ensuring timely arrivals at each stop.
- Engage with customers in store to promote additional products through effective upselling techniques.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving on designated routes.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing any concerns or inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license; experience in route driving is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers and promoting sales.
- Basic math skills for handling inventory
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading of products.
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is advantageous.

Expected hours: 33 – 35 per week
