Oversee the daily operations of an Early Head Start center. Teach an assigned group of children. Supervise teaching staff assigned to site. Monitor child attendance. Organize and conduct parent education and parent participation activities. Comply with Early Head Start/Head Start regulations, California Health and Safety Codes, Title 22 and other applicable state, local and federal guidelines.

Pediatric First Aid and CPR certificate. Knowledge of child growth and development; developmentally appropriate practices; principles of supervision, training and performance evaluation. Ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse educational, socio-economic, and cultural backgrounds, and those with disabilities and special needs. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Proof of valid CA driver’s license and minimum amount of liability insurance required by law. DMV H-6 printout required.
