What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Academic Tutor (ME) LOCATION: Stanislaus County position at Merced County Office of Education?
Job Summary
Under the direction of a migrant supervisor, Migrant Education Program, and with input from the school site principal / designee, will provide individual and small group tutoring to migrant students during the regular year program at an after school site and / or in the home. Will be responsible for providing tutoring in reading, writing, mathematics, English Language Development and other academic subjects as needed for students to meet grade level standards; may include student observation in the classroom setting, meeting with the classroom teacher and or school-site principal and / or designee. This position is not included in the classified bargaining unit and is not subject to terms of the union agreement regarding membership, payment of like fee, or donation to recognized charity.
