Job Overview : Assists in the planning and analysis of financial and economic data to support functional and department business planning
Responsibilities :
- Prepares monthly and quarterly forecasts for assigned business areas
- Assists in the analysis, investigation and research supporting the needs of organization's financial planning
- Prepares communications for assigned business areas with monthly / quarterly financial results vs. budgets, forecasts and prior periods
- Gathers and analyzes financial information and prepares forecasts and analyses of the company's short term and long term financial planning
- Performs monthly and quarterly revenue and expense analysis and reconciliations for assigned business areas
- Performs routine analysis, suggests new ideas, and provides recommendations to improve financial performance or reduce costs
- Support with monthly, quarterly and annual closing for assigned business areas
- Increases productivity by developing automated solutions
- Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings
- Will perform other duties as assigned
