Job Overview
This position is responsible for maintaining the facilities and equipment at MBUSI in a safe, efficient, and effective manner to ensure equipment availability meets or exceeds requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain line equipment to support production and quality targets.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve line safety, efficiency, quality, and cost targets.
- Maintain equipment irrespective of discipline, including repairs, replacement, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, etc.
- Support criticality analysis, FMEA risk analysis, and Preventative Maintenance optimization.
- Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
- Assemble, install, and maintain utility, conveyor equipment, and industrial processing systems.
- Support installation and commissioning of machinery and equipment.
- Maintain machinery and support maintenance of machinery in assigned work area.
- Examine machinery and equipment to diagnose needed repairs.
- Replace and/or repair component failures.
- Inspect parts to detect imperfections.
- Lubricate and clean parts.
- Analyze failures and report with recommended countermeasures.
- Assemble and install pipe and pipefittings.
- Repair, maintain, and install robots and robotic systems.
Requirements/Skills:
- Two (2) year technical degree from certified Trade School or Technical College in Industrial Electronics/Electrical fields plus three (3) years of maintenance experience.
- Seven (7) years of maintenance experience in automated industrial manufacturing environment without degree.
- Maintenance aptitude to learn skilled trades other than specific area of expertise.
