Here is what you will be doing:
- Sets, monitors, and manages performance expectations for BDC team members
- Consistently reviews phone calls to ensure basic script/processes are being followed and positive guest experience is maintained (reports wins and opportunities)
- Conducts training for BDC personnel on proper client handling, telephone etiquette and follow up
- Assists in proactively resolving customer complaints as necessary
- Escalates appropriate situations to parts, service and general managers
- Gather accurate customer information to create a database for continual follow-up and retention
- Reply to online email leads and requests for service information within store's standards
- Build and maintain knowledge of product information, current sales pricing, dealership and manufacturer events and promotions.
- Utilize computer & phone skills to increase appointments, sales, customer retention and set appointments with call-ins, referrals and leads.
- Report to appropriate management when expectations are not met
- Administration of payroll weekly and monthly to include metric bonuses and quarterly reviews/increases
- Prepares monthly reports on employee and department KPIs
Here is what you will need:
- High School Diploma/GED is required
- Successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
- Valid driver's license
- Previous experience setting up/running/managing an Automotive BDC is required
- Previous experience with Internet/Web response centers is a plus
- Previous CRM experience is a plus
