What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Parts Inventory Shipping and Receiving Clerk position at Mercedes-Benz of Albuquerque?
Job Summary
Will be responsible for receipting and shipping parts orders, tracking orders and returns of Automotive Parts. Also for keeping forms and invoices filed and accessible for audits and reviews.
Responsibilities and Duties
Check in customer orders, daily stock orders and emergency orders of parts and accessories.
Pull stock returns and parts that have claims for damaged or missing parts shipments.
Track parts shipments and returns with help of the Parts Clerk.
File shipping documents that pertain to ordering and returns.
Make sure that warranty parts are scraped or sent back to the Manufacture after warranty claims are paid.
Qualifications and Skills
Need to have graduated High School or have an equivalent certificate.
Need to have great computer skills and be able to type and use ten key.
Prefer some one that has Automotive or Truck Dealership experience. Prefer experience in parts procurement.
Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds and stands for long periods of time.
General business office skills are a must. Need to have a professional attitude and appearance.
