Responsibilities— Billing Specialist / Accounting Clerk :

Prepares / generates from operating system invoices that list items sold, services provided and amounts due.

Issue credit memorandums for returned and incorrectly billed merchandise.

Review and post deals to accounting general ledger.

Perform compliance audits on vehicle related transactions.

Perform account reconciliations as needed.

Review incoming deals for accuracy.

Maintain accurate accounting of vehicle inventories.

Other office duties as assigned

Qualifications—Billing Specialist / Accounting Clerk :

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and excellent computer skills.

Prior dealership, accounting, or automotive experience preferred but not required.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and communicate potential issues.

Professional demeanor with excellent communication, organization, and phone etiquette.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts to changing priorities.

Willingness to learn, contribute, and maintain a positive workplace culture.

Flexibility to travel to dealerships in Chattanooga when needed.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Must be able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods and lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
