Parts Counter Person (Wholesale)

Description

As a Parts Counter Person (Wholesale), you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers while efficiently processing parts orders, receiving incoming shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized parts warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Wholesale Account Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesale customers (dealerships, repair shops).
  • Proactively contact and engage with existing and potential wholesale accounts.
  • Understand and meet the specific needs of each wholesale customer.
  • Provide accurate and timely quotes and order confirmations.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
• Order Processing & Fulfillment:
  • Accurately and efficiently process wholesale parts orders, including order entry, pricing, and invoicing.
  • Ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate order picking and packing.
  • Monitor order status and notify customers of any potential delays.
• Inventory Management
  • Assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels for wholesale parts.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stockouts.
  • Participate in inventory cycle counts and audits.
• Customer Service:
  • Provide excellent customer service to all wholesale customers.
  • Answer phone calls and inquiries from wholesale customers promptly and professionally.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints effectively.
• Other Duties:
  • Assist with the development and implementation of wholesale sales strategies.
  • Stay updated on new products and industry trends.
  • Adhere to all dealership policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in automotive parts or related field preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Valid driver's license (may be required for deliveries or other duties).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy parts.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, and kneel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
