Description
As a Parts Counter Person (Wholesale), you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers while efficiently processing parts orders, receiving incoming shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized parts warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Wholesale Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesale customers (dealerships, repair shops).
- Proactively contact and engage with existing and potential wholesale accounts.
- Understand and meet the specific needs of each wholesale customer.
- Provide accurate and timely quotes and order confirmations.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
- Order Processing & Fulfillment:
- Accurately and efficiently process wholesale parts orders, including order entry, pricing, and invoicing.
- Ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate order picking and packing.
- Monitor order status and notify customers of any potential delays.
- Inventory Management
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels for wholesale parts.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stockouts.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and audits.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to all wholesale customers.
- Answer phone calls and inquiries from wholesale customers promptly and professionally.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints effectively.
- Other Duties:
- Assist with the development and implementation of wholesale sales strategies.
- Stay updated on new products and industry trends.
- Adhere to all dealership policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in automotive parts or related field preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Valid driver's license (may be required for deliveries or other duties).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy parts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, and kneel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
