Department Overview
The Market Intelligence and Technology Department defines US product (and customer) requirements and provides actionable insights to Product Management teams as well as other MBUSA business units to shape MBUSA’s future product portfolio. This team also manages and oversees key strategic product management activities for cross-carline passenger car technologies, for example Navigation, DRIVE PILOT, infotainment system, etc.

This position will support the Market Intelligence and Technology Department defines US product (and customer) requirements and provides actionable insights to Product Management teams as well as other MBUSA business units to shape MBUSA’s future product portfolio. This team also manages and oversees key strategic product management activities for cross-carline passenger car technologies, for example Navigation, DRIVE PILOT, infotainment system, etc.

Qualifications / Education:
To qualify for this internship opportunity, you must be a rising junior, senior enrolled in a Bachelor's program.
Preferred concentration of study: Business Analyst, Information Management, Project Management, Marketing and other business-centric topics.
Skills
During this 8-10 week summer internship, you will be required to report the office 3 times a week at our Sandy Springs, GA headquarters.

Responsibilities:
- Engage Product Management stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify and plan consumer and product-related research projects.
- Integrate various sources of product information into the US5 project
- Research, analyze and proactively share the latest consumer insights and trends
- Assist with the development of carline equipment strategies related to connected and autonomous features such as the headunit/UX, parking & lighting systems, and active & passive safety systems
Qualifications / Education:

- Driven, proactive and willing to learn with a mindset that challenges the status-quo to come up with creative and efficient solutions.
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to handle multiple projects within a given time frame
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to provide accurate data and reports under tight time constraints
- Strong problem formulation and problem solving skill - attention to detail is a must
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint & Excel
- Proven ability to innovate and transform complex concepts into simple analyses for interpretation
