Job Overview
In light of customer demands, increasing parts portfolios, and supply chain disruptions, there have been growing needs to expand the PDC footprint across the NAFTA market. To handle such needs, the PDCs have been relying on increased storage capacity, namely offsite annexes, to hold inventory that was previously occupying needed locations in the main warehouse. The annexes primarily hold slow-moving and obsolescent inventory, based on demand and velocity data in Dview. However, Dview demand data does not fully capture the demand behavior of parts. The Supply Chain Technology team (SCT) is seeking an intern to support a cross-functional project to analyze annex utilization across the NAFTA PDC network. This project will be relevant to all three areas of SCT gathering demand data from the planning system and Paragon, comparing data to the current process in Dview, and supporting inventory efficiency across the entire NAFTA market.
