JOB DUTIES

- Serve as a liaison between MCCC and external partners, including local healthcare organizations, community groups, and industry leaders, fostering collaboration to strengthen the program’s impact.
- Foster pathways for students to complete their nursing program and achieve licensure as a registered professional nurse.
- Offer tailored academic support, mentorship, and career coaching to assist students navigate program requirements and certification processes.
- Collaborate with industry partners to identify emerging trends and ensure the curriculum aligns with workforce demands, preparing students for high-quality employment opportunities.
- Coordinate internships, job fairs, and other career readiness initiatives to connect students with potential employers and build meaningful professional networks
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support for nursing students regarding academic concerns, clinical placements, and program requirements.
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities to secure clinical placement opportunities, ensuring alignment with program goals and accreditation requirements.
- Collect and analyze student feedback to identify areas for program enhancement.
- Collaborate with faculty to implement initiatives that improve the student experience.
- Advocate for student needs while maintaining the integrity of the nursing program.
- Mentor students on professional development, including resume building and interview preparation.
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records of academic and clinical achievements.
- Organize and participate in orientation sessions, workshops, and student-focused events.
- Coordinate and disseminate program updates, deadlines, and other essential information to students.
- Serve as a liaison between students and clinical sites, ensuring students are informed about schedules, policies, and requirements.

WORKING CONDITIONS
The position requires flexible availability, including days, evenings, and weekends.
The position is part time, 4 hours per week.
The position includes office and lab work settings, with occasional travel to partner sites.

Positions in this class typically require: ability to use a key board, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of two (2) years of full-time teaching experience in higher education.
