This allows for employees and their families to take advantage of earning a higher education degree without the high cost. The College offers students 69 Degree Program Options and 35 Credit Certificates from which to choose.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Instructor will provide in-class support for dual enrollment students participating in the Summer XL Program. This is Grant funded seasonal position with temporary assignment from July 1, 2023 through August 30, 2023. The position identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner for student related to student success. The position gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in-group problem solving situations, and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.

  • In-class instruction and grading for SXL-001 (College Skills Seminar)
  • Provide in-class tutoring services for dual enrollment students
  • Supervise students during SXL-001 workshop

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Teaching and tutoring experience preferred

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Master's Degree
