JOB DUTIES

- Responsible for the design/update of College Skills Seminar and Career.
- Pathways curriculum, as well as ENG 101 content.
- Transition all content to online format for both synchronous and asynchronous learning.
- Develop and/or review all course materials (textbooks, software, resources, etc.) as well as, supplementary materials for student participants.
- Review and select various non-academic skills training.
- Other duties as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop Summer XL curriculum and content.
- Develop assessment methods for College Skills Seminar.
- Design and evaluate pre and post writing diagnostic measures.
- Collaborate with Summer XL instructor on the development of classroom-based activities.

Please note that assigned tasks and responsibilities on both campuses is required for all MCCC positions and should be established with applicants.

Positions in this class typically require: ability to use a key board, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in English or relatable field of study.
- One (1) year of relatable work experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in English or relatable field of study.
- Two (2) years’ of relatable work experience.
- Two to three (2-3) years’ experience working in higher education.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Assessment of developmental learning skills.
- Proficient in the English Language Arts subject.
- Ability to design and develop student success content.
