Additional duties include:
- Supervising students in and out of the classroom, including on the playground.
- Ensuring all center policies and state regulations are met.
- Maintaining a healthy classroom environment including appropriate hygiene & cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
- Implementing teacher lesson plans.
- Following the classroom schedule.
- Maintaining accurate records, forms and files.
- Changing diapers and helping children with toileting as necessary.
- Working cohesively with additional teachers in the classroom.
- Obtaining CPR and First Aid training.
Requirements
Must complete appropriate paperwork, clear full background check, pass health screening and have any of the following:
- High School Diploma.
- ParaPro Certification or 48-60 college credits.
- NJ Substitute Teacher Certificate.
- Bachelor?s Degree.
- NJ Standard Teaching Certification.

- Bilingual a plus.
