Join our fast-paced trucking and warehousing company, where efficiency and teamwork drive our success. We are seeking an experienced forklift operator for our Warehouse Fulfillment team who will contribute to the smooth running of our business.
Position Overview
Receives, stores, distributes, freight by performing the following duties.
Primary Duties
- Operate forklift, pallet jack, clamp, or other hand truck
- Unload inbound trucks/containers sort if needed both by hand and forklift
- Pick, wrap, label, and stage orders to be shipped
- Fill out necessary paperwork for shipping & receiving
- Perform cycle counts as required
- Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Relocate product as needed and fill out paperwork
- Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
- Identify safety hazards in the workplace
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse to include picking up garbage, sweeping floors, keeping warehouse aisles clear debris and maintain outside grounds
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- High School diploma/GED
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions in the English Language
- Proficient in mathematics
- Knowledge of various material handling equipment preferred
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations
- Posess high regard for safety in the workplace
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
Required Licenses and Experience
- Forklift certification
- 2 years forklift experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50# unassisted constantly throughout the day
- Good vision, hearing and manual dexterity
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
- Climb on and off the forklift, maintain balance while operating, have good coordination to handle the physical demands of forklift controls.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach and maintain spatial awareness while maneuvering the vehicle
- Ability to work in various warehouse conditions

Schedule
Full-time, 4-10 hours shifts. Must be able to work overtime as necessary. Hours may include weekends, and shift may start as early as 6am.
