Job Summary:


The Client Onboarding Specialist provides daily, ongoing onboarding and operational support for the Broker-Dealer group. The Client Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for the preparing and processing of outgoing and incoming client onboarding paperwork and assisting in the operational processing of new clients into the broker-dealer. This role may also perform a wide range of support activities to facilitate the central service team and operations. This role requires excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills.


Essential Job Functions for this role include:


  • Preparing onboarding client paperwork and processing outbound to client
  • Assisting with daily inbound and outbound mail & check handling
  • Assisting operations with the handling and processing of client onboarding work processing tasks
  • Assisting with managing client intake process for the broker-dealer team including creation of client files, inputting initial data into CRM, and ensuring all data is accurate and complete
  • Coordinating inbound calls from clients to the central team
  • Assisting with ad hoc projects
  • Performing general administrative tasks, as needed
  • Other duties as needed


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Outstanding work ethic and a self-starter
  • Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure, by prioritizing and multi-tasking in a busy environment.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook
  • Able to maintain confidentiality with all matters.
  • Have a “can-do” positive attitude and enjoy being part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment.
  • Eager to become an expert in the position.


Work Schedule:


This professional role requires availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, in office

All roles classified as a non-exempt are required to record working time into the timekeeping system daily at the start and end of each workday plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch period.


Working Conditions:


Professional office environment, daytime hours, working inside, standing, and sitting, will be assigned to a workstation, no heavy lifting over 10 lbs.
