SPECIAL EDUCATION DIRECTOR
The Mercer Area School District seeks a highly qualified candidate to serve as the Director of Special Education. This is a 260-day position that requires expertise in special education.
Candidates must have a minimum of three years of teaching experience in special education and hold either a PA Supervisor of Special Education certificate or Superintendent Letter of Eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of special education programs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed

Requirements
