MAINTENANCE TECH TIER 3

Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other areas. Assist with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of facility systems and equipment. Work under moderate supervision and follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 Remove and replace faucets, drains, work on commercial toilets and urinals.
- Repair toilet flanges, install toilets/urinals. Repair leaks in plumbing systems
- Construction
- Patch, tape, finish sheet rock for painting.
- Change filters, belts, motors, and verify oil levels.
- Work with pressure bearing systems with air and liquid
- Perform alignments within mechanical systems.
- Rebuild Gear boxes, Troubleshoot mechanical failures on various equipment
- Understanding of mechanical alignments
- Ability to follow required Lock Out Tag Out procedures
- Remove and replace switches, plugs, light bulbs, light fixtures, etc.
- Ability to diagnose electrical problems safely and accurately
- Ability to troubleshoot using PLC logic, and understanding of 24v control circuits
- Support a clean work environment.
- Observing and following all safety rules, attending safety trainings as necessary.
- Utilize a work order system to log activities and document completed tasks.
- Work with or assist trades contractors to complete projects or complex repairs.
- Performs maintenance of building, sidewalks, and parking areas
- Works with all types of ladders
- Using company vehicles, forklifts, scissor lifts, and golf carts to complete tasks.
- Ensures that work order requests are responded to promptly and professionally.
- Perform regular maintenance on tools, equipment to include cleaning, storage and inventory.

*Employees may be required to work more or less than 40 hours/week as part of their regular schedule based on production needs.

Qualifications

SKILLS REQUIRED:

 Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and contractors.
- Ability to read and follow both verbal and written instructions
- Ability to walk/stand/stoop for several hours daily, including walking between buildings in various weather conditions.
- Ability to regularly lift/push/pull objects within safety limits.
- Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining facilities.
- Ability to use computers, Ipads, and Iphones.
- Ability to use a multimeter
- Ability to use hand/power tools such as hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers, saws, power screwdrivers, and drills.
- Ability to drive forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, golf carts, and company trucks.
- Ability to use a ladder.
- Ability to write and respond to emails, text messages
