We are looking for a self-motivated, team player to work with our people, our manufacturers, and the area’s leading architects, engineers, lighting designers, and contractors to deliver top-quality products, technical support, and service. Major functions include, but are not limited to:
- develop mutually beneficial relationships with the specification community as well as electrical and general contractors so Mercer-Zimmerman is the agency of choice for lighting and controls products and services.
- present new products to customers and provide lighting solution consultation.
- provide service and support to customers during design, construction, and post-project completion.
- coordinate sales efforts with the inside quotations and project management team.
- partner with Project Coordinators to create submittals and conduct pre-construction meetings.
- conduct technical and product training in the territory or at our manufacturers’ facilities.
The ideal candidate for this job will:
- have construction industry knowledge and experience reading project documents, including drawings, schedules, and submittals.

Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field is preferred, but not required.
- 3-5 years of related experience is a plus.
