Position Overview
The Sales Coordinator is a key role in ensuring the success of our client relationships and project execution. This position supports the early stages of the sales process, manages client communications, follows up with vendors, coordinates samples, and provides overall client support. As a salaried bonus position, it’s perfect for someone eager to grow in the promo merchandise industry.
Responsibilities
- Sales Coordination: Assist Account Managers in coordinating new and ongoing sales efforts, ensuring all client needs are met with efficiency and professionalism.
- Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for early-stage client inquiries, ensuring prompt and clear responses.
- Vendor Follow-Up: Manage communications with vendors to confirm pricing, timelines, and order status. Ensure deadlines are met for orders and samples.
- Sample Management: Track and coordinate sample requests, ensuring timely delivery to clients or Account Managers.
- Order Support: Help monitor and update order progress, resolving issues proactively and providing status updates to clients and internal teams.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, orders, and vendor communications in CRM or project management tools.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to clients, resolving inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve sales coordination processes and contribute to the development of best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales support, client services, or a related role (experience in promotional products and merchandise is a plus).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM or project management tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
