Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Department: Finance Accounting
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Location: Cedar Park, TX – Hybrid or UK
FLSA: Exempt, Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong focus on tax management to oversee the financial operations of our multinational organization. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for shaping the company’s growth strategy, managing financial risks, and ensuring compliance across our global operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional with a deep expertise in global tax regulations including payroll, tax planning, and optimizing the company’s tax position across multiple jurisdictions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Tax Strategy & Compliance: Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies that align with the company’s overall financial goals, compliance with U.S Federal, State, and international regulations, and global tax burdens. Including, multi-state sales tax and VAT tax compliance and reporting.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team across both regions, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Financial Reporting & Accounting: Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, tax reporting, payroll processes and ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, including currency exchange, taxation, and compliance issues related to operating in multiple countries.
  • Global Treasury & Cash Management: Oversee global cash flow management, focusing on tax-efficient repatriation of funds, while optimizing the company’s capital structure to support tax-efficient financing and investment strategies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary contact for tax-related matters with external stakeholders, providing regular updates to the Board and executive leadership on tax risks and opportunities
  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Successful history of acquisition growth strategy and integration of financial systems across entities.

Minimum Qualifications, Education & Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, MBA, or a Master’s in Taxation strongly preferred.
  • 15 years of progressively responsible experience in finance, with a strong focus on tax management in a multinational environment.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and international tax regulations, including multi-state payroll management, sales tax, VAT tax, and corporate tax.
  • Experience in tax planning, transfer pricing, and managing global tax compliance.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and global financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High integrity and commitment to ethical business practices.
  • Proven track record of multi-currency financial consolidation reporting.
  • Proven track record in managing tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Proficiency in advanced financial software and ERP systems.
  • Multilingual capabilities are a plus.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting of office supplies and materials (up to 20 pounds).
  • Ability to travel as needed for local and international meetings and events.
  • Valid passport.
  • Ability to travel to the office 3 days a week.
