Description
Our Mortgage Branch Administrator will perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the Merchants Mortgage branch and/or supervisors to facilitate the efficient and smooth operation of the organization. You will also assist with the coordination of mortgage loan processes, including managing office tasks, maintaining records, and supporting the branch manager and loan officers.
After one year as our Mortgage Branch Administrator, you will know you were successful if you are able to handle the following confidently and independently.
Administrative Support:
- answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
- receive and interact with incoming visitors
- maintain general office policies and procedures
- handle requests for general office information and data
- resolve administrative problems and inquiries
- organize and maintain office and kitchen supply inventory
- Assist in submission of expense reports.
- Assist with travel accommodations in Concur.
Loan Processing Assistance:
- Assist loan officers with the preparation and processing of mortgage loan applications.
- Assist in collecting and verifying necessary documentation from clients.
- Assist to ensure all loan files are complete and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in coordinating closings.
- Assist in the condo approval process.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist clients with understanding the mortgage process and required documentation.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all loan applications and client interactions.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of client information.
Team Support:
- Support the branch manager and loan officers with various tasks and projects.
- Coordinate and participate in branch meetings and training sessions.
- Assist in the team’s marketing efforts.
- Assist in branch recruiting campaigns.
- Collaborate with corporate training to become the branch LOS expert.
- Work directly with corporate training as a local liaison and extension of corporate training.
- Assist with and become the office resource for Encompass.
Requirements

- Encompass experience or other similar mortgage software
