Description
We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Support Analyst with expertise in SharePoint and Power Platform to join our dynamic IT Operations team. This role involves collaborating closely with the VP of IT Operations to manage and administer SharePoint and Power Platform environments. The ideal candidate will assist business units with SharePoint site creation, support, project work, and implementing automation solutions tailored to business needs.
After one year as our SharePoint Support Analyst, you will know you were successful if you are able to handle the following confidently and independently.
- SharePoint Administration and Support: Oversee the overall administration of SharePoint environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user accessibility.
- Power Platform Management: Manage and maintain Power Platform applications, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, to support business processes and reporting needs.
- Collaboration with VP, IT Operations: Work closely with the VP to develop and implement strategies for SharePoint and Power Platform usage across the organization.
- Business Unit Support: Assist business units in creating and managing SharePoint sites, ensuring they meet specific project requirements and business objectives.
- Automation Implementation: Design and implement automation solutions within SharePoint sites to streamline workflows and improve efficiency based on business unit needs.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on SharePoint and Power Platform functionalities, promoting best practices and user adoption.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of SharePoint and Power Platform configurations, processes, and procedures. Generate reports on system performance and usage metrics
Requirements
What we are looking for…
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2 years of proven experience in SharePoint administration and Power Platform management.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, site creation, and customization.
- Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design effective automation solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business units and IT leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills…
- Experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell.
- Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
