Planogram Merchandiser

Overview

To lead store set teams to set/reset grocery merchandise in our customers’ stores to improve sales and profitability

Location:  Onsite Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

Accountabilities:• Develops the yearly set review schedule along with Ad Group Directors.• Coordinate the scheduling and communication of store sets to ensure maximum participation of vendors.• Provide direction and establish standards for vendors during the set/reset for proper placement of tags/items.• Works in conjunction with the Category Managers to ensure sets maximize potential sales based on data.• Creates multiple set sizes as needed to fit the variety of store sizes serviced by MDI and WLF.• Design layouts for new/existing stores for maximum sales and profits.• Utilize market and movement data to merchandise stores properly.• Works closely with WLF to ensure proper communication of section reviews and coordination.• Mage wholesale partner accounts. Utilize MDI category managers to grow sales through implementation of items/programs• Supervises 3-8 manufacturer representatives that produce planograms for MDI and WLF• Planograms over 100 category sections per year• Ensures all items identified by the category manager are accurately placed in the set.

Qualifications

Desirable Qualifications:• Knowledge generally associated with a bachelor’s degree• 2-3 years grocery retail or wholesale experience• Supervisory experience preferred• Ability to work with minimal supervision• Ability to travel required• Strong organizational skills
