What You’ll Do
- Oversee month-end close and financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Prepare, review, and approve a portfolio of account reconciliations
- Analyze and enhance accounting and operational processes for improved efficiency
- Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain data integrity
- Support budget and forecast analysis, identifying key variances
- Lead successful company audits and contribute to ad hoc projects
- 5 years of accounting experience, with strong leadership skills
- Expertise in GAAP and fundamental accounting principles
- Experience optimizing and streamlining accounting processes
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (required)
- Familiarity with Great Plains Dynamics, Blackline, and Planful (a plus)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA preferred | MBA or MSA a plus
