POSITION SUMMARY:
The Material Handler/forklift driver is responsible for accurately picking, receiving, and storing products to meet company standards of safety, productivity, and quality. This position is also responsible for moving materials to storage areas as well as the maintenance and upkeep of the yard.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This position consists of pulling orders inside the warehouse and out in the yard using Zebra scanners
• Operate Forklift and other warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
• Receive incoming material and put stock away.
• perform cycle counts on inventory.
• Load and Unload inbound/outbound trucks
• Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Must be able to work overtime as required
REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift Experience
- Be able to use and read a measuring tape
- Building material handling is a plus!
- Experience with Zebra scanners is a plus!
