Description
The Shop supervisor ensures that the daily functions of the plant are carried out in a safe and productive manner. Our Shop supervisor meets production schedules cost-effectively and keeps downtime at the lowest level possible while coaching employees to perform at their best
Requirements
• Support plant manager to ensure timely, accurate product receipt, order fulfillment, and the optimization of resources and
processes for the assigned shift.
• Maintain, refine, and/or improve processes within the area to meet customer requirements, which include deadlines and
quality standards.
• Manages shift scheduling, staffing, material management, compliance, training, and auditing activities.
• Handle emergency schedule conflicts by effectively and efficiently assigning work within the available resources.
• Facilitate the company’s safety awareness & training initiatives.
• Review, update, and write Standard Operating Procedures.
• Deliver results in support of the company’s 80/20 strategy and expectations.
• Provide leadership and supervision to distribution team members and motivate and challenge them to drive high
performance.
• Create an inclusive environment that embraces and drives company values.
