Your Role
As a Fixture Installer, your main focus will be on the physical setup of the framework in retail stores, including but not limited to, the installation of shelving units, fixtures, and displays during new store builds and remodel project

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation (state to state commute)
• Ability to Able to travel extensively for projects nationwide (4-8wks average)
• Able to drive up to 750 Miles per day in personal vehicle (mileage reimbursements/travel pay and bonus provided)
• Must provide tools for personal use
• Must be physically able to stand for long periods, kneel, bend, reach and lift/carry up to 60lbs
• Capable and willing to present a professional image of Merchco Services to our clients and retail personnel
• Must have a personal banking account for direct deposit and proof of valid vehicle insurance
• Must have a device with internet for email and app-based programs
• Must be willing to share rooms when the project requires double occupancy

Experience with store remodels, store setup crews, big box retail experience and /or new store openings is highly desired. The average schedule allows you to work 8-10 hour days (may require overtime). Qualifying travel expenses are reimbursed. All employees will be required to have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Qualifications:

• Ability to read schematics and set and stock product and shelving units according to POG
• Extensive profiling of bays and sections, including shelving and accessories
• Assemble specialty merchandising units, stands, shelving and displays
• Work in new store, remodel, and reset/roll-out environments, including days or overnight work
• Ability to work effectively independently as well as a part of a team
• Maintain a positive relationship with co-workers and store personnel
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow all company safety policies
• Work with a sense of urgency while having attention to detail
• Must be able to complete general paperwork
• Millwork/Display/Fixture Assembly and Demo
• Signage installation
• Practical knowledge and use of tape measure, hand saw and other power tools and able to cut a straight line.
• Assemble components like fitting rooms, floating desks and shelving, and level/install owner supplied FF&E millwork
• Retail new store set-up/remodel experience is a plus
• Forklift experience desired for Fixture Installer position (company certification provided)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
