Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager/Estimator to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes. If you have hands-on experience in construction project management and estimating, we want to hear from you—no degree required! We prefer extensive experience over the degree. Pay depends on experience.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalize construction projects according to deadlines and within budget.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and present project status reports.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project to resolve issues promptly.
Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Familiar with QuickBooks Online, Smartsheets, and Google Drive
- Strong skills in construction estimating and budgeting.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven project management abilities with a focus on scheduling
- Strong analytical skills for problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
