Your Role
The Supplier Qualification Senior Specialist is responsible for evaluating and qualifying suppliers to ensure they meet the company's standards for quality, reliability, and compliance. This role involves conducting assessments, audits, and ongoing evaluations of supplier performance to support the procurement and supply chain functions. The applicant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all supplier-related processes align with MilliporeSigma's strategic goals.
Who You Are :
- Conduct supplier assessments and audits to evaluate compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain supplier qualification criteria and processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities
- Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed
- Prepare and present reports on supplier qualification status and performance metrics
- Maintain accurate documentation related to supplier qualifications and audits.
- Act as a point of contact for suppliers regarding qualification processes and requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to supplier management and qualification
