Your Role
As a value-driven member of our global Digital, Data & IT organization helping enable the digital transformation of our company’s Enabling Functions, you will play a key role as IT Business Architect, Direct Procurement.
As a member of this business-facing global technology group, you are on the front lines: advising project managers and workstream leads, training key users, using technology to solve business challenges, and keep strong governance within ERP and the associated IT landscape. You will act as a trusted advisor in various projects, being the main counterpart for consultants and technical experts, and coordinating key user activities like requirements gathering, testing, training, and master data preparation.
Location: St. Louis, MO, USA; Hybrid
Travel: <15%; International or Domestic or as deemed required for strategic projects (E.g. SAP transformation projects)

Minimum Qualifications
Who You Are:
- Bachelors degree with at least 5 years experience working with SAP-MM (incl. S4); preferred 7 plus years of experience in space
- Deep knowledge of Direct Procurement (e.g. PR/PO creation, consignment, sub-contracting, materials management, demand management, etc.)
- Knowledgeable and comfortable with master data across Direct Purchasing (including the interrelation with SAP MDG-s)
- At least 3 full life-cycle SAP ERP implementations including scoping, planning, process design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Comprehensive knowledge of SAP Purchasing processes, and a broad understanding of applicable regulations (E.g. Sales/Use Tax, Global Trade Services (GTS), etc.)
- High-level understanding of other SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO), and understand the dependency of these modules with the E2E direct purchasing processes
- Experience with different project methodologies (e.g. Agile) and tools (e.g. HP-ALM, JIRA)
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, demonstrating strong ownership and the capability to get things done while providing excellent customer service.
- Excellent organizational and team documentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP RICEFW (objects) to convert business requirements into functional and technical specifications gained through work experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of SAP purchasing processes and procurement master data, including materials, vendors, purchase information records, and source lists.
- Extensive experience in cleansing and migrating master data, including mapping, preload and post-load validation of results.
- Demonstrated ability to implement SAP Best Practices and custom solutions within SAP by collaborating cross-functionally with Business Process Analysts and development consultants to meet business needs.
- Knowledge of cross-functional integration between core SAP modules such as Inventory Management, Finance and Controlling, Sales and Distribution, Production Planning, and Project Systems, along with SAP Materials Management.
- Experience with intercompany sales and purchases
- Demonstrated knowledge of working with IDOCs, migration/cutover activities (e.g., ORDRS, ORDER, DESADV EDI documents).
- Experience with project management tools like HP ALM and JIRA.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Expected skill level in SAP MM: 8/10.
