Primary Responsibilities:
1. Lead CMC Project Teams: Oversee the development of new chemical entities, from initial formulations to final market formulation definition and manufacturing process robustness assessment.
2. Drive New Technology Strategy: Develop and implement new technology strategies, enhance scientific understanding, and build capabilities within the organization.
3. Generate Experimental Designs: Create innovative approaches for product development, generate experimental designs, execute plans, and analyze data to impact pipeline development and set strategic direction.
4. Mentor Technical Staff: Coach and mentor technical staff to develop scientifically and support the execution of pipeline programs.
5. Spearhead Due Diligence: Evaluate potential pipeline assets and drug delivery technologies, representing PSCS on cross-functional teams to make strategic and technical recommendations to leadership.
6. Coordinate Technology Development: Set direction and coordinate technology development efforts in emerging drug delivery areas.
7. Collaborate Across Functional Areas: Work effectively within and across functional areas to lead the development of novel drug delivery technologies.
