The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in device design and engineering evaluation. You'll also possess strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as fluency in structural finite element analysis (FEA) and solid testing and troubleshooting skills. Experience with mechanical testing, imaging, and measurement equipment and techniques is highly desirable, as is familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 13485 and ISO 14971. In addition, knowledge of Design Verification (DV) strategies and mechanical tests with validations is a plus.
