We are seeking a highly skilled NLP Researcher with expertise in machine learning deployment to join our team at Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD). The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and deploying production-grade NLP products for unstructured and semi-structured data from across our research and development pipeline.
The Senior AI/ML Expert will be responsible for helping to develop scalable deployment of ML and Generative AI approaches, including Large Language Models (LLMs), for surfacing insights from proprietary unstructured research data and biomedical literature. Key focus areas will include text classification, relation extraction, and entity linking.
As part of our work, we have opportunities to coauthor presentations, reports, manuscripts, and/or public code releases.
