Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist for Pharmaceutical Commercialization to join our team. This exciting opportunity will involve leading the development and implementation of commercial cell culture processes for biologics, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.
About You
We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong background in cell culture and fermentation sciences, leadership and project management, and regulatory knowledge. You will have expertise in independently conducting and directing all stages of cell culture process commercialization, including late-stage commercial process development, technology transfer, scale-down model qualification, and process characterization.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of commercial cell culture processes for biologics, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and ensure successful project delivery.
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance on various aspects of cell culture process development and commercialization.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation in support of process characterization, process performance qualification, risk assessment, control strategy, process comparability reports, and regulatory submissions.
