Reporting to the Senior Director of Information Architecture, this role will be a member of the EA Information Architecture team. The role will closely partner and support CD&A teams to declare information technology standards as well as jointly develop information management, governance standards and best practices to drive consistency across the Enterprise. The role will directly partner with CD&A architecture and data teams, providing thought leadership and establish a collaborative relationship on building capability roadmaps.
In addition, the role will interact with divisional Information Architects as well as Senior Divisional IT leaders on a regular basis and will need to clearly communicate and demonstrate the value of Enterprise Architecture and Information Architecture to their respective organizations.
This role will contribute to the Enterprise Information Architecture frameworks and enterprise data strategy. The role will supply thought leadership in support of the company’s initiatives in data value capture and acceleration. This role will work closely with the company’s central data and analytics team to supply architectural leadership and strategic direction. This role needs to ensure the information and data strategy that is developed enables the capabilities needed to deliver business value to our customers.
The role will understand the mandatory information management requirements of the enterprise and focus on developing the information architecture across relevant business areas (R&D, manufacturing, finance, marketing/sales, and supporting global functions). The role will contribute to consistent standards and leverage those standards to produce tangible artifact and deliverables. The role will focus on providing the enterprise the necessary Information Architecture frameworks, processes, and deliverables to provide proactive insights to critical data challenges and future needs backed by business cases for investment.
This role is responsible for the “stack” of IA capabilities and frameworks and will develop information architecture assets spanning the following areas:

This leader will have an opportunity to work on a truly enterprise team that engages with leaders across all divisions and will be directly involved in helping enable our CIO’s vision of a more top-down, agile, and business outcomes-focused IT organization. The position will work in tandem with other Business, Technical, Systems and Solutions architects across the company.
A partial list of responsibilities includes the following:
Establish Information Architecture (IA) standards, frameworks and practices. These standards and practices are expected to span capability areas including data capture/collection, ontology creation, data mapping, and taxonomies.
Establish strong working relationships with business and technology leaders to influence and implement the EIM framework and strategy and establish an enterprise-wide information architecture program.
Analyze the data landscape across the enterprise and assess health and risks of the current state. Deliver a strategy that evolves the current state toward one where enterprise data supports the company’s transformation goals.
Grow the capabilities of an enterprise data marketplace, including data cataloguing, data discovery and data governance.
Mature the company’s delivery of information assets, leveraging product management practices to offer “Data Products”
Contribute to a master data management strategy, including entity definition and ongoing sustainment.
Collaborate with information security, business, and IT stakeholders to implement an information access policy and rules of use.
Stay current with EIM technology trends and introduce these best practices to the company.
Drive the notion of reusable Data Assets, manage data as an asset.
Discover, recommend, and implement enhancements to the enterprise Data Management architecture.
Support the creation of a common and well managed set of EA practices, which includes architecture models, architecture governance processes, architecture methods and templates, architecture communities and training, and much more.
Create EA deliverables and artifacts relevant for accountable architecture domain(s).
Prepare and deliver executive level briefings and communicate complex topics effectively to a diverse executive audience.
Travel will be required (~10%).

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected US salary range:
