Job Title: Clinical Leadership Opportunity for Immunology Expert
We are seeking a seasoned Medical Director to lead our clinical trial efforts at Merck. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the execution of clinical trials, manage cross-functional development teams, and develop clinical development plans.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversight of clinical trial activities, including study design, trial management, and interpretation of results from a medical perspective.
- Effective management of cost-effective approaches to development plan activities.
- Liaison with Key Opinion Leaders or Scientific Advisors to develop scientific rationale for clinical trials.
- Development and/or oversight of clinical development plans, study concept sheets, study protocols, and regulatory documentation.
Key Requirements:
- A medical degree is mandatory for this position.
- You should have at least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, including knowledge of regulatory requirements in clinical development.
- Board certification or expertise in related Immunology/Dermatology field is preferred but not mandatory.
- You must be able to communicate effectively in English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Substantial professional experience in Immunology/Dermatology, including clinical trials is highly valued.
- Experience in designing, setting up, conducting, and evaluating clinical trials would be beneficial.
- The ability to work in an intense, fast-paced, global work environment is essential.
